Tethering Your Android!

The initial release of the G1 had many limitations which through a few updates have seriously improved the phone. One of the features that I missed on my Blackberry was tethering. At last there is a 3rd Party software which allows tethering without root access to your Android device. Check it out here at June Fabrics (PDA Technology Group).

June Fabrics also has software to support iPhones, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, and Palm devices.

Mobile Phone Geeks

http://www.mobilephonegeeks.com/

Alright guys so I just got back from a trip to Austin, TX. I stopped into Mobile Phone Geeks which is owned and run by a long time friend of mine, Tin. This is a must one stop shop for all your mobile needs. There's nothing they can't do. They buy, sell, trade, repair, unlock, & flash cell phones. They also offer mail-in repairs and specialize in iPhones.

Business is doing really well and I don't even have to tell you how great the service is just read the reviews found on google.

Song of the Week #28

Clash - Thai Girls

Better late then never. I'm late on this weeks "Song of the Week" again. Anyhow this one is "Thai Girls" by Clash. Clash came to Minneapolis on July 2nd. This was the first time I attended a Thai concert. I have to say Clash definately rocked the house. The event was held at Epic in downtown Minneapolis. This song was also preformed that evening and I want to dedicate it to by lovely wife.

Song of the Week #27

The Dream (Feat. Kanye West) - Walking on the Moon

Well since I'm on a roll I mine as well post this weeks song. I couldn't find the official video that allowed me to embed but it's not that great a video either. Even this one is a little annoying since it's all dark and so much screaming going on in the background.

Song of the Week #26

Song of the Week #24

So I decided to feature a new song every week on my blog. They'll typically be song that I'll be bumping in my Scion through my iPod.

This week the flavor is "It's not my name" by the Ting Tings. I heard the Ting Tings last year with "Great DJ's" the Calvin Harris Mix and I can remember my wife couldn't stop playing it over and over. I love thier style!

Talk about a not so lucky day.

Well typically on a hot days I like to leave my windows just a little cracked while I'm at work. This will probally be the last time I do that. Therefore I present you exhibit A.

Exhibit A

Now as you can see from exhibit A the fecal matter was hit in 2 different spots 1 on the frame of the door and the other directly on the window. Now, here's the worse part Exhibit B.

Exhibit B

As you can tell from the photo part of exhibit A has managed to slip right through the small crack and land right on my seat. What are the chances of that ever happening. However bad things may seems there's always a brighter side. In this situation I'd rather this happen to me than the following photo.

Blacked out Scion Emblem

Well after failed attempts at spray painting my emblems I think I finally succeeded but we'll see after a few months if it actually worked.

The trick was I removed the outer silver coating of the emblem. All that was left was some kind of taupe colored resin. Then it was off 3 coats of the following primer, paint, then clear coat. I think my mistake in the previous attempts was that I never used primer. Later today I'm receiving a special delivery but you've got to wait for the next post.

On Tour '09

Just recently got back from a 9 day trip in Europe. Our main stops were London, Paris, and Amsterdam.

Aside from being haunted one night while sleeping at my cousins home and an rude encounter with a clerk at the metro station I'd say our trip was awesome.

Here's the Day by day photo summary.

Day 1 - The theme for this day was "Lost". We ended up lost and hitching a ride from a stranger to the train station. Got off the wrong stop and walked for miles before we got to the london eye and Big Ben.

Day 2 - Much better than Day 1. We jam packed British Museum, London Bridge, Tower of London, Buckingham Palace all into one day.

Day 3 - We only had a few hous in London before leaving to Paris. This one of my favorite pics of Fin jumping in Trafalgar Square.

Day 4 - We spent all morning at Chateau de Versailles. Then took a stroll down Champe Elysee all the way to Arc de Triomphe. Then a VIP tour of Paris at Night. This is my favorite photo.

Day 5 - Eiffel Tower day. We spent most of the day visiting parks in Paris

Day 6 - Lunch with the whole family then off to Musee d'Orsay

Day 7 - After being haunted in the middle of the night we went to Louvre this day.

Day 8 - Arrival in Amsterdam. Visited the Van Gogh Museum. An excellent exibit going on right now "Colors of the night". Then took a little canal boat tour and stroll through the red light district only to get stranded at Central Station after all the trams shutdown.

Day 9 - Goodbye Amsterdam.. Goodbye Europe... time to return to MSP.

LRG x G-Shock

I did encounter GLS-5600V-7ER inside Galeries Lafayette Haussmann Paris but it did not come home with me. So didn't end up with a white G-Shock but I think this is much better.

And now introducing the DW-6900LRG..

In desperate need of a White G-Shock

Too bad I already went overboard this year on watches but just one more won't hurt. I know it won't happen anytime soon but any of these would be very nice.

Cool banner?!?!

A little history behind the banner. Here's the original picture just resized smaller.

This is my car. It's an 07 Black Sand Pearl Scion tC. The photo was at Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis. The other day I just found out I cracked my bumper. Still haven't fixed it yet. So I'm riding around like this.

I know it's pretty sad. Didn't want to go crazy with a bunch of duct tape so I'll just wait til I pick up some Krazy Glue

Here's just a random pic cruising downtown. Sorry for the quality it was taken with my phone.
